BRAG: Safeway Trip 3/5...

Well here is the first of what I hope to be many posts of my Safeway shopping trips.  I finally found a Safeway that will actually allow me to use more than one like printable coupon per transaction.  So this sets me up for some great savings.  However, this did not come in to play for my trip today.  Here is the breakdown:

Transaction #1:

Bought 6 single serve California Pizzas ($2.50 each)

Used 5 $1 off any California Pizza coupons from 2/20 SS (I think)

Used $5/$15 any frozen food Safway in-ad coupon

Paid $5.00 out of pocket

Received $1.25 catalina for each ($7.50 total)

Transaction #2:

Bought 18 count eggs ($2.49 each)

Bought 2 Oscar Meyer Deli Creations ($.99 each)

Bought 5 boxes of Betty Crocker fruit snacks ($.99 each)

Used $1/2 Deli Creations printable coupon from Coupons.com

Used 2 $.50/2 Betty Crocker fruit snacks from newspaper (also available at Coupons.com)

Used $7.50 in catalinas from transaction #1

Paid $0.00 (actually had $.08 overage, which they don't allow you to have)

Received $3.00 catalina for buying 5 boxes of Betty Crocker fruit snacks

Vinal Verdict:  $2.00 out of pocket for for almost $50 worth of items!  That is 96% off savings right?  I'm bad at math but good at savings!
