BRAG: My Rite Aid Trip 1/30 ($26 Money Maker)

Well, I figured I would start sharing my Rite Aid trips so you can get the "couponing bug" too.  After you see the deals I get, you are bound to want to participate!  Here is what I did:

Transaction #1:
Bought 5 half-gallons of Dreyer's Ice Cream
Bought 5 Lay's Stax potatoe chips
Bought 1 bag of Dark Chocolate Chex mix
Used $1 Chex manufacturer's coupon
Used $20 in +UP rewards I had from the free GE light bulbs and Nature Made deals I posted about
=Out of pocket total was $.47

Transaction #2:
Bought 1 Fusion ProGlide Razor (gift pack included size shaving cream, face scrub, and face lotion)
Bought 2 Boxes of Valentine cards for the kids
Bought 2 Stayfree feminine pads
Used 1 BOGO free Stayfree coupon
Used $4 Gillette Razor manufacturer's coupon
Used $11 +UP rewards from previous transactions
=Out of pocket total was $.18

Transaction #3:
Bought 2 Coricidin cold/flu
Used (2) $2 Coricidin manufacturer's coupon
Used $2 Rite Aid Video Values coupon
Used $6 +UP rewards from previous transactions
=Out of pocket total was $.12

Transaction #4:
3 Afrin nasal sprays
Used (2) $2 Afrin manufacturer's coupon
Used (1) $3 Afrin manufacturer's coupon
Used (1) $2 Afrin Rite Aid Video Values coupon
Used $9 +UP rewards from previous transactions
=Out of pocket total was $1.48

Transaction #5:
Bought 1 Neuregen Gel
Used $10 Neuregen manufacturer's coupon
Used $9 +UP rewards from previous transactions
=Out of pocket total was $2.64

FINAL VERDICT:
Started with and used $26 in +UP rewards from prior week transactions
Paid cash out of pocket was $4.89 for about $100 worth of products
Ended with $37 +UP rewards
Will receive $20 Single Check Rebate from Neurgen Gel
Grand Total: Made about $26 after rebate and +UP rewards

The trick is to split the transactions and use the previous transaction's +UP rewards to minimize your out of pocket cash spending.

So are you impressed?  This type of deal happens more often than not.  Totally worth the little over 1 hour I spent on printing out the list, printing and cutting coupons, and shopping.
